Bowses Hill Farm

We’ve just had the most lovely little weekend glamping here! we stayed in the garden pod, and the cabin was so cute and cosy, the whole thing was immaculate, and much more spacious than it looked on the outside. Excellent value for money! Our pod had 3 comfy beds, a fridge, with a tea and coffee facilities, heaters, lighting and plug sockets, plates and cutlery, drinking water. And the showers and toilets were only like a minutes walk! Our 3 year old absolutely loved it! There was a little play garden with plastic fruit and veg to dig up, a little wishing well, and a mud kitchen, all in our private garden, which was lovely. There was also a wood fire hot tub, which the gent who worked there very kindly helped us with. There was lots of lovely facilities in our own private garden, but also things to do on site. There was a field of friendly farm animals just over the way, who all seemed to love being stroked! There was a little nature trail, and a big wooden play area, lots of little games and wooden dens in the woods! We would definitely recommend this to people of all ages! Especially with little children. Lovely spot and lovely friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be returning.

I cannot recommend this place enough! It is beautiful, the farm animals are adorable. We stayed in The Oaklands, it was so nice. The room size was big enough as was the outside with the heated patio. The hot tub was lovely. What we personally liked most about it was that the pod you stay in is fenced around, we have an autistic son and this made us feel way more at ease. Everyone had the best time! Perfect destination for a little family get away 🏕 Can't wait to go back under the stars to roast marshmellows with my family ❤️

Second time camping at Bowses Hill farm. I absolutely love this site. Facilities are minimal and look rough and ready, but showers are hot and everything was clean, even on a busy bank holiday. Take a big waterproof bag to hang your stuff on the shower door and you will be fine. It seems to be a very secure site. You can never be sure, but plenty of people were leaving unattended equipment charging in the shower block, apparently without issue.I love that you can pitch tents anywhere sensible, in this case under the trees for shade. Atmosphere is very friendly; lots of families enjoying the simplicity of outdoor life. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be back.

Lovely family campsite – can’t wait to return We stayed here with our new tent and had such a lovely time. I’ve been camping before, but this was our first trip using the new tent, so we wanted somewhere close to home — and it was perfect for that. Even though it’s nearby, once you’re there it didn't feel so close to home. The site is beautiful, clean, and really well looked after. The kids absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave, neither did I. The owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming, and we felt safe and relaxed throughout our stay. We’ve already recommended it to others and can’t wait to come back again soon.
