Poulton-le-Fylde sits at a crossroads between the Fylde coast and the villages and walking country of rural Lancashire. Pointer Cottage occupies a quiet rural spot nearby, within reach of both—the promenade towns of Thornton Cleveleys and Fleetwood are close by, Blackpool's attractions are minutes away, and Ribble Valley's villages and pubs are inland. The cottage itself is arranged on a single level: three bedrooms (one with an ensuite), two bathrooms, and an open-plan living space with a woodburner. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with a gas hob and electric oven. One bedroom has a double bed, another has a double, and the third has two singles; this arrangement suits a family or two couples. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are provided, and initial logs for the woodburner are included.
The outdoor space is the real draw. A private hot tub sits in the enclosed front garden, along with patio furniture and a barbecue—usable any time of year. Electric car charging is available on site, and there is parking for six vehicles. One dog travels free. Smoking is not permitted inside. The cottage sleeps up to six, with a maximum of four adults and two children.

Entrance was very untidy and you struggled to see pulling out of the entrance on to the road because of the hedges , the cottage looked lovely but inside it could have been a lot cleaner the bedding was nt ironed and the towels didn’t smell very fresh . No signal on tv so couldn’t watch the football and toilet in bedroom very stained .

We had an absolutely amazing time at this amazing cottage (family of 5 ). Their is everything u need here all ya home comforts. And the plus comforts are the hot tub and the wifi is super fast and reliable. And their is a reliable bus service at the bottom of the lane to blackpool etc. The seven stars pub 25 mins up the road was good aswell. Food was amazing. We will definitely be booking again for next year .

We recently stayed here for a few nights and the cottage itself was absolutely lovely! The owners really thought of every little details such as an electric car charging point, little board games and puzzle books etc! The only downside was the construction works going on right outside the front garden which meant we couldn’t use the hot tub in the day time as there were too many workmen outside which felt a bit awkward at times.

A Beautiful cottage and any issues they are more than willing to help, beds are very comfortable and the little surprise when we arrived with milk and bacon was perfect. Everything you could need in the kitchen. Was a wonderful weekend thank you 😊 Would recommend the Black bull beautiful food and Seven stars all dog friendly!!
