Combining views of the Lancashire fells with some genuinely unusual sporting facilities, Little Tongues Leisure Park makes a fitting base for activity-mad families. The no-frills camping field has a quiet, semi-rural location near Poulton-le-Fylde, yet is only half an hour's drive from Blackpool's world-famous attractions if you fancy a change of scenery.
The campsite itself occupies a level meadow sheltered by trees. Pitches are non-electric, so bring torches and batteries for night-time trips to the spotless shower block, which includes disabled amenities and an outdoor washing-up area. The real draw here is the archery – both indoor and outdoor lessons are available – and Little Tongues boasts one of the longest air-rifle ranges in the north-west. Groups can book exclusive use of both ranges or organise foam-tipped arrow games. Barbecues and campfires are allowed, and a small shop in Preesall (15 minutes' walk) stocks essentials, with chip shops and a local pub serving hotpots and Lancashire beers nearby.

Beautiful holiday park if you like to watch geese, ducks etc, garden staff are very helpful, approachable and keep place immaculate. Residents are amazing, couldn't ask for nicer friends/neighbours.We had both a single, then double Lodge, sold due to getting to 35 degrees in summer in Lodge and freezing dropping to 10 degrees in winter and costing £16.75 a day in gas to heat to 19 degrees, thats before heating price rising. Lost 60k with fees etc when selling so beware if not 100% don't purchase.

Please read carefully if you are thinking of buying a caravan or lodge. You will constantly be told lies regarding council tax and other services. You will be offered no more than £2000 if you want to sell your purchase even if the purchase price was in excess of £100,000 12 months prior. If you complaint you have management threatening to kick you off site. Places like this are owned by multi millionaire conmen around the country who are breaking many laws, local councils are also aware of what goes on and will do nothing about the ownership of these sites or shut them down because back handers go a long way. AVOID PLACES LIKE THIS AT ALL COSTS.

Willowgrove leisure park is a very well run park. It's a great place to live, it's well maintained and staffed by helpful pleasant people. During the warmer months we have lovely flowers in tubs and baskets. The lake and the geese, ducks and wildfowl also really enhance the park.
