Ithon Bank
Powys
You arrive at Ithon Bank to find everything on one level: a single ground-floor lodge with three bedrooms, a bathroom, and an open-plan living space that flows from kitchen through dining area into a sitting room with patio doors onto the garden. The bedrooms hold a double, two singles, and a bunk bed. What you get from the moment you walk in are the essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen and wifi—plus a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering, and outdoor access to a decked terrace where the hot tub sits.
The property stands on a working farm beside a fenced river, with free fishing available in the grounds. Llandrindod Wells spa town is five miles away; Rhayader and its red kite feeding station slightly further. This corner of Powys sits within reach of Glyndwr's Way, Offa's Dyke and the Cistercian Way for walking, while the Elan Valley reservoirs draw serious anglers and walkers. Hay-on-Wye is within reasonable reach, as are the Cardigan Bay coast and Aberdovey beach for a day trip. Locally there are pubs, shops and a choice of places to eat. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The property is non-smoking.
