Redwood Valley Cabins and Yurts - Eilian

Photo: Redwood Valley - Woodland Cabin and Yurts

Hay-on-Wye and Ludlow are both roughly 20 miles away, making them easy day trips from Redwood Valley Cabins and Yurts. The Shropshire Hills, Wye Valley, Brecon Beacons and Snowdonia are all within reasonable driving distance for those who want to explore further afield. The 25-acre site itself spreads across wildflower meadows and ancient woodland, with walking available on the land around you.

The accommodation sleeps five in one bedroom containing a kingsize bed, a double futon and a single futon. There is one bathroom with a shower cubicle and toilet. The kitchen has a gas hob and microwave; you share a dining area and fridges with other properties on site. A woodburning stove heats the space, with logs provided. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Outside, a garden with decking and seating looks over the wider grounds, and there is parking on site.

This is a private booking—the whole property to yourself—though other guests are scattered across the wider land. The site occasionally runs courses in green woodworking, birdwatching and ring-making if those interest you. No smoking is permitted inside.

Wow what a magical place! The Tree top cabin has everything you need for the perfect stay. The grounds and surrounding area stunning! Perfect to relax, unwind and enjoy the delights nature has to offer. Love that those that run it takes their Eco status seriously and provide you with a true glamping experience, no gimmicks just great accommodation, facilities and experience. An absolute gem, we will be back for sure!

Incredible place. Surprised my boyfriend with a stay here for his birthday last weekend and it could not have been more perfect. We stayed in the treetop cabin which feels like it's in its own little world, set back from everything, it was the most amazing place to just relax and recoup. We didn't want to leave! David was so helpful, even coming up and replacing our fire making supplies midway through the weekend when we requested. The cabin itself has it's own compost toilet and shower (which was amazing after a day of walking). Communal kitchen wonderfully stocked and the actual grounds are beautiful, we loved the tree swing. I couldn't have picked a better place for us to stay, highly recommend!

Just returned from a blissful stay in paradise! As soon as we arrived at the site, I felt my shoulders drop and my relaxation levels rise. So peaceful (the only sound is beautiful birdsong), I felt cocooned in my sumptuous yurt. Hosts are welcoming and friendly, and all the little details have been thought of to make you feel comfortable and at home. As a family, it was lovely to have the opportunity to spend quality time together, playing games and chatting around the firepit. Thank you so much - can't wait to come back!
