Step through the entrance of Tawe Cottage and you're in a traditional stone building arranged over two floors, with everything you need spread across ground and first levels. Downstairs, the living room and kitchen form an open space where you can watch the River Tawe from the window, cook a proper meal, and gather around the dining table. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. There's also a ground-floor bathroom with a bath and shower. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed (4ft 6in) and the other a single (3ft). The cottage sleeps 4 and comes with bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating included.
Outside is a back garden with seating and furniture, and the property sits opposite the river on the edge of Ystradgynlais. The village has pubs, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Brecon Beacons National Park is a short drive away, with waterfall walks, showcaves and peaks to explore. Swansea is under an hour's drive, as is the Gower Peninsula. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Smoking is not permitted inside.
