The Annexe

The Annexe is a self-contained modern cottage attached to the owner's home in Guilsfield, a village in rural Powys. Ground-floor rooms include an open-plan living and dining space, a bedroom with a king-size bed, and a shower room. The living area has a sofa bed that sleeps two more, making four guests possible. Large patio doors open onto an enclosed garden with seating and furniture. One car can park on site.

The kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals with an electric oven and induction hob. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Heating is via gas underfloor heating. One well-behaved pet stays free. The property does not allow smoking.

Guilsfield sits within reach of several known walks including Glyndwr's Way and Offa's Dyke Path, as well as Lake Vrynwy for cycling. Welshpool, a market town with independent shops, is nearby. Further afield lie Montgomery's canal-side walks, Powis Castle and the narrow-gauge railway, plus Snowdonia National Park and the Welsh coast for longer trips.
