Llangunllo is a small village in the heart of Radnorshire, surrounded by countryside that draws walkers year-round. Glyndwr's Way passes nearby, and the landscape of rolling hills makes stepping outside the door the start of a day's rambling. The Greyhound Inn sits within the village for an evening out locally; other pubs and restaurants are within 15 minutes' drive across the neighbouring valleys.
The Old Smithy is a converted property split across three floors. Downstairs holds the kitchen, fitted with electric cooking, a dishwasher and all essentials for self-catering, plus a shower room and games room (accessed separately from the roadside). The ground floor living room has a woodburner and smart TV. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed, one with a zip-and-link that converts from a double to two singles. The hot tub, heated and private, sits in the enclosed garden with patio and furniture. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included; heating and an initial load of logs for the burner are covered too. The property sleeps four and accepts one small pet. No children under five, and smoking is not permitted.
Knighton, a market town 6 miles away, sits on Offa's Dyke and has shops and services. Presteigne is 9 miles distant. Further afield, Hereford, Ludlow and Hay-on-Wye are all within an hour's drive, each with their own character and attractions.
