Tent, caravan and motorhome campground near Llandrindod Wells with plenty of space and views across Welsh hills.

About Coco's Wild Camp

Coco's Wild Camp is a back-to-basics campground in Powys that takes tents, caravans and motorhomes across a spacious site. The setting offers 360-degree views of the surrounding Welsh hills, and the layout gives campers room to spread out rather than feeling packed in. Facilities include showers and composting toilets, with fire pits available to hire.

The site runs a food van for meals and a small shop selling essentials and souvenirs. Pitches cost from £10 per adult per night. The staff are reported to be friendly and helpful. This is the kind of place where you get the basics done well and the space to enjoy the landscape, rather than a site layered with activities and entertainment.

I love it here! Very peaceful, idyllic location with views for miles. Literally a case of finding a pitch wherever suits you and unpacking. No electric, showers or cleaning facilities on site besides a composting toilet. Bring your own drinking water. They do have a food van on site, double check with Stephen before arrival if you're expecting food as sometimes it's not open. There's a big Tesco about a 15 minute drive away for any supplies you may need. Fire pits are allowed and are available to hire on arrival including the wood. There's also a large organised fire on Level 2 of weekend with some background music and/or travelling musician's having a jam session. There is also a hut selling reasonably priced branded Coco's items, such as stickers, travels mugs, hoodies, t-shirts, kites and other bits and pieces. Would highly recommend Coco's to get away from it all for a couple of nights.

Coco's is a fantastic place, stunning views, beautifully clear night sky when the clouds cooperate and very relaxing. It is far enough out of the way yo be a restful escape yet has a big Tesco store 20 to 30 minutes away if needed. The owner is wonderful, friendly and very helpful. Looking forward to making this site a regular spot in the future to get away from it all, relaxing and decompressing. At only £10 a night for an adult you can not do better.

A truly special place! We have recently bought a camper and have fallen in love with Cocos! The views are amazing, the owners are so welcoming Nd helpful. Toilets can be a little grim when it's busy and hot, but they're sawdust toilets so that can't be helped in busy periods and when it's hot. Didn't detract from our stay at all, we can't wait to come back ! It's a little gem of a place! Go try it and you won't be disappointed! Bird song, sheep chattering and the wind blowing ......absolute bliss! 💕
