About Four Winds Campsite and Touring Rally Park
Four Winds sits in peaceful Denbighshire countryside near Prestatyn, offering a proper old-fashioned touring park experience with generous pitches and electric hook-ups. The facilities are straightforward—clean shower blocks, washing-up areas, and chemical disposal—though some visitors note they can feel a bit dated. Dogs are welcome year-round, making it popular with pet owners, and the site happily accommodates rallies.
The location is the real draw. You're within easy reach of Prestatyn's seafront, the North Wales coast path, and excellent cycling routes including nearby mountain biking trails. Golfers, horse riders, and watersports enthusiasts will find plenty to do locally, while pubs, restaurants, and shops are a short hop away. It's an unpretentious, well-placed base for exploring this corner of North Wales without fuss.

What visitors say
Couldn't fault our stay here especially as we had the field and facilities all to ourselves. Owners were friendly and helpful. Ground is flat so no need for chocks to level up, we will be staying again as the location is a perfect base between Prestatyn and Rhyl.

The place is great, with a couple of minor points. . The field has a slope so take your ramps. . There were cones out so we could not park too close to the power point . As " it gets water logged" luckily we had a LONG power extension and the motorhome is fitted with hydraulic self leveling but we did look like it was about to take off into flight. The power point is 6 amp........ we are used to being, off grid so we are well aware of the power we use. But when a low wattage toaster is the only thing on and it trips...... well... I am really glad we had the fridge on gas. The entrance is nicely done and there is a good swing in and out which has been concreted. But the road up to the site was not exactly quiet... we were there over a bank holiday weekend but it was busy along the road so much we decided not to take the dogs for a walk to the local area.... The site owners left us pretty much alone except to warm us about our dogs.... we thought this quite....... amusing as the next building along... literally at the end of the field is an animal rescue centre and the " residents" made a lot of noise at feeding time and when they were "talking"to each other.... So the area surrounding is good. The site is...... ok. The owners.... could do with a people skills course.

We turned up 2 vans no booking but the owners were very helpful put us in a field to ourselves which was great. Very clean and tidy everything you would want for a campsite. Spoke to the owners for a bit nice couple very friendly would definitely stay again if I was in the area

Well kept site with basic clean facilities. The field is huge and when we visited it was in first class condition, electric and water on each pitch. We liked the metered electric which means you pay for what you use. Overall a great site far enough away from Rhyl and Prestatyn caravan parks but a short drive gets you to the seaside.
