About Presthaven Sands Holiday Park

Presthaven Sands spreads behind a gorgeous dune-backed sandy beach on the North Wales coast, offering direct access to miles of shore that's brilliant for walks and wildlife spotting. The park itself is all about action: three pools (including heated indoor and outdoor complexes with a flume), two ShowBars serving up live music and entertainment, plus a central 'action zone' packed with go-karts, sports courts, roller-blading and laser combat. Families can fill days however they fancy—Wake 'n' Shake sessions, mini ten-pin bowling, cycling, or venturing out to explore Conwy Castle and the Welsh Mountain Zoo in nearby Snowdonia.

While the sheer scale and energy here win families over, some reviewers note that certain areas can feel a touch tired and prices run on the higher side. Still, with its beachfront setting, huge range of facilities and evening entertainment, Presthaven Sands delivers a classic, lively UK holiday park experience.

Came for a 4 day holiday with my children 2 and 10 years old. I stayed in a Bronze caravan and I was impressed with the standard. It's a new caravan and perfectly clean. It's spacious and very comfortable. The site itself us lovely, however, can have rubbish littered about in parts. The staff are lovely and helpful. The entertainment site has lots of things to do for the kids, the swimming pool is nice and has an outdoor pool, which is great as its a heatwave during our stay. However, we had to pre book swimming which was the week before arrival and I could only realistically book 1 slot because the pool is only open 10am till 3pm and they fill.up quickly. The mini mart on site is convenient and reasonably priced and it does have good stock even if the selection is minimal. Nice hot food counter for those little snacks. Overall the facilities are very good and we will 100% come again.

Very large site with tourer at the furthest point from the activities centre. Swimming pool is very good, lots of play areas for the kids, loads of refreshments stalls, large bar area and big entertainment room with kids club. Amenities are good with loads of hot water, pitches are a good size and most are level, some on concrete base.

If it had a zero it wouldn't even get that , caravan on main road cars speeding not just tourist workers too , load music all night people shouting all hour smoking drugs , family's walking around with fag's and alcohol in hand, the two caravans behind where for imagrant men workers did not feel safe atall ,, Caravan rathers unkept, dirty dishes stained cups we had a huge infestation of ants as entering spoken to staff not helpful,, Never again would I walk into a haven site after this even if it was a top caravan with all expenses paid !!! I ended up taking my non verbal daughter home two days before !!!! This is a very honest review save your money and protect the safety of children!!!!

We stayed at presthaven for the weekend this was our 4th stay on the park since 2024 we booked 2 caravans one a silver grade and a dog friendly bronze it was my sons 18th so we came with a few family members. Silver grade caravan was spotless beautiful van with a lovely view and balcony however was right down at the bottom by the touring pitch so quite a walk from entertainment etc but didn’t bother us too much as we drove. We paid the exact same price for both caravans the bronze was very different to the silver which okay is expected it was clean and basic, but had burn holes in the sofa cushions and a dining chair that looked as though if it’d be sat on would snap in 2, luckily family spent most of their time at my caravan and only used the other to sleep in, we’ve stayed in bronze before on the park and it was nothing like that we put it down to being a dog friendly van? But they should still be maintained. Other than that we had a great time. The whole family really enjoyed them selves for the first time out of our 4 visits the full pool was open indoor and out which the children loved. Entertainment was great there was good offers on at the restaurant and bars. We have been making our way round the uk staying at haven parks and presthaven still remains my children’s favourite.
