It's time to spill the beans about Hush Hush Glamping, an adults-only site in Wales' Radnor Valley. This 90-acre farm sits roughly 15 minutes' drive from Presteigne in a designated dark sky area, meaning stars shine particularly brightly after dark – perfect for blanket-wrapped stargazing sessions. The fully-insulated wooden pod perches on a hillside with cracking views over the Radnor Valley and Black Mountains, and comes thoughtfully kitted out with double bed, kitchen, ensuite bathroom, heating and outdoor terrace. Guests particularly praise the private hot tubs and quirky outdoor cinema projectors, plus those valley panoramas.
You won't be short of peace here – resident alpacas and sheep far outnumber human visitors, while red kites, hares and deer make regular appearances. Mobile coverage is available if you need it, though the absence of wifi encourages a proper digital detox. With just a handful of pitches, this remains one of the most tranquil boltholes in mid-Wales.

What a fantastic place for a short break! A fantastic view to match the equal fantastic Glamping Pods. With your own hot tub at each pod with bbq facilities, TV, big screen! Then you have the beautiful Alpacas visiting often and lots of bird life. A must for your wishlist of relaxation and peace!

This place is the most beautiful and idyllic place we have ever stayed. The quiet and isolation was so restful. Saying hello to the Alpacas in the morning. We even saw the Hares in evening. Gorgeous. If we ever have the opportunity to come back we definitely will.

We thoroughly enjoyed a mid week break at Hush Hush Glamping in May. After spending a good 10 mins thinking of anything that would have improved our stay... we have drawn a blank! Keep doing what you're doing! Thank you

We had a wonderful few days staying in Alpacas Rest. It was a perfect little retreat to get away from it all. We loved the "Glamping Pod", perfect for the two of us. It have everything you could possibly need. We thought the outdoor cinema projector was a great touch for the evenings. The Hot Tub was fantastic and just what you need to de-stress. Alice and Kevin were perfect hosts and were on hand if anything was needed. Communication with them throughout our booking (and stay) was brilliant, the website and digital guide books had every piece of information you could ask for. We'll definitely be back again and highly recommend staying here.
