What visitors say
Came here yesterday and it was like a building site. Barriers, cones, diggers everywhere. The path around the reservoir on one side was blocked. My wife and I started walking the other side, past the visitor centre, then there was an announcement on the tannoy saying you are entering a restricted area, please leave, so we turned around. Realised there was no way to walk around the reservoir so decided to leave. Tried to pay for parking on way out but machine said error, tried twice, so just left. This place is a joke. Went to Daventry Country Park instead, soo much better.

Usually a lovely place to walk, eat and relax. However..... very hard to get to. From Dunchurch the road is blocked near Toft Alpacas, and from Southam you need to ignore the road closed sign (or so I am told, but didn't try). Severn Trent have not updated their website, but the Park 's contact email is helpful but not monitored all the time.

I didn't even know this place existed until Sunday this past weekend. I enjoyed a very pleasant walk in the sunshine with a friend with some truly stunning views of the water and the surrounding countryside. If walking and water are your things then I highly recommend Draycote Water for a day out.

We took a picnic with our 4 & 6 yr old grandchildren, we took their bikes, there’s such a good flat path around the water. The toilet facilities in the car parking area were excellent, clean and well maintained. There’s plenty of parking. And some good play equipment. There’s several bench seat and tables too. A great place to spend a few hours outside
