About Cellar Farm Caravan and Camping
Perched in the peaceful village of Botwnnog, this well-maintained family farm offers sweeping sea and mountain views across the Llŷn Peninsula. The site splits into two fields – one for campers, the other home to friendly sheep and cattle who occasionally pop over to say hello. It's an ideal base for exploring the peninsula's coastal path, with Abersoch's sandy beach and sailing harbour just 15 minutes' drive away, and the pretty seafront village of Aberdaron equally close.
Facilities are straightforward rather than fancy – a toilet block (though there's no hot water), drinking water, and chemical disposal. Two shops and two pubs sit within 40 minutes' walk for supplies and hearty meals. The real draw here is the location: keen hikers have mountains on the doorstep, while beaches, restaurants and stunning coastal scenery spread in every direction. A wonderfully peaceful, pet-friendly spot for outdoor breaks, though those seeking modern comforts might find it a bit basic.

What visitors say
10/10 in all aspects. Great pitch layout so not crowded. Excellent facilities with the showers and toilets spotless. Space to wash up, drinking water on tap, fridge and freezers for use and charging available. Oh, and great WiFi. Phone signal is awful, so the WiFi is a god send. Brilliant and accommodating owners who clearly take pride in this site. The local wildlife and sheep have a lot to say during the night, but that's not the sites fault! Otherwise a secluded and quiet area great for relaxing. Would absolutely visit again, and soon!

Absolutely loved our stay at The Paddocks Caravan & Camping Site and would happily return! We received such a warm welcome on arrival, including a really helpful tour of the site and facilities which was a lovely touch. The campsite itself isn’t huge, which meant it stayed peaceful and relaxed throughout our stay — made even better by it being adults only. The facilities were excellent and spotlessly clean every time we used them. The pitches were spacious and well kept, WiFi was available, and we also really appreciated the extra fridge and freezer space. Being allowed open fires 🔥 in the evenings made the whole place feel even more cosy and chilled. Location-wise it was perfect for us too — only around a 15 minute drive to the Nantlle Ridge walk. At £28 per night for a non-electric pitch, we thought it was fantastic value for money, especially with the added bonus of an 11am checkout so there’s no rush to leave in the morning. A really friendly, well-run campsite with a lovely atmosphere — we’d definitely stay again! Many thanks for our stay, Claire & Matt

Excellent camp site. Would definitely come back. There is the slight sound of sheep.. but this is Wales, it would be weird if you didn't hear any. The site is well managed, very clean and loads of space for the tent. The owner considers keeping tents at a reasonable distance apart rather than cramping everyone together as close as possible. Very spacious, very respectful , very demure. There are toilet and shower facilities (which are absolutely immaculate) and a place to charge phones and electrics. There is a station to wash up your Cooking equipment. freezers and fridges on site. It's not too far from the sea, it's possible to walk it if you want to, but if not, also a short drive, with parking near by the beach. The grass on the site is good quality. A bit stoney, but not too bad that you can't pitch up a tent. You often hear peacocks in the distance and there is a good breeze. No kids on site which was fantastic! Phone reception is not grate, but the site has WiFi. Phone reception in the surrounding areas isn't that good either but it's manageable. For a campsite, honestly... can't knock it. The people that were on the site were all lovely. Around the site there was good lighting when walking about at night, but not too much that it disturbs you when your are sleeping in a tent anywhere on the site. Grate for meditation, and nature lovers. You can enjoy the variety of birds around especially the swallows that often dart around, and the amazing views. If you like a quiet, respectful, clean and well maintained campsite and also consider your self to be a respectful, clean, and a humble camper, this is the place for you. You can have a camp fire which is provided on site for £15. It's worth a note to bring cash with you when you're here. The owner does both cash and card. Also near by car parks to cash and card but ideally bring cash. £30 change should cover you. For things you may need. If not, you can also manage with your card.
