About Deuglawdd
Tucked away near Pwllheli on the Llŷn Peninsula, Deuglawdd offers a straightforward, no-frills escape with the convenience of an on-site restaurant and café – handy after a day tramping the coastal paths. The site keeps things simple with decent shower blocks and chemical disposal points, though dogs aren't permitted, which might disappoint some families.
What it lacks in bells and whistles it makes up for in location: you're well-placed for exploring Gwynedd's quieter corners, with local shops, pubs, and even horse riding and tennis courts all nearby. It's an honest, practical base for those who want easy access to the peninsula's beaches and villages without too much fuss.

One of the best camp sites with the most kindest/lovely staff I have stayed at and I have travelled around the country to a fair few! Absolutely stunning views for miles of mountains and the sea! The sun rises and sun sets are just an absolute gem with a gorgeous beach in walking distance which you literally have to yourself! Oo and if you enjoy a late night the sky at night is definitely worth staying up for! The site is gorgeous with lovely facilities. Makes you feel like your a "propa" camper with a bit of bouj!! Great areas around to explore not far with car or within walking distance! Thank you for the most amazing stay. I will be back every camp trip 💚🧇

Beautiful idyllic location, very peaceful and secluded pitches. We couldn't see any other tents from where we were camped... just the occasional rabbit! We had a lovely warm welcome from Helena. Each pitch has its own firepit and you can buy firewood for £5 (card payment, just scan a QR code), it made for a very cosy evening. Free showers, always nice. Little swimming spot just a short walk away (pebble beach). Worth bearing in mind that motorbikes and cars need to park in a dedicated area, not right beside the tent, but it's very close by and secure. We'd book to stay again in a heartbeat!

Really lovely remote campsite. Decent hot showers. What a treat having the campsite to ourselves, spoiled for choice to which pitch we wanted, they were all really nice. Great views of the mountains and the sea, excellent sunset catching spots. Easy access down to the beach.

We had the most amazing weekend at Gyrn Ddu in July! Its the perfect campsite with everything you need, practically glamping wit the hot showers, toilet block and fire pits. Mitch and Helena were so helpful, and on hand for any questions we had. The surrounding area is so magical, will absolutely be back. I stayed in the yurt which has everything you need for a gorgeous & comfortable stay.
