About Twnti Touring Caravan and Camping Park

Beach or castle, steam train or Segway? What splendid dilemmas you'll have on this wild spot in north Wales.

'Snowdon's arm' they call the Llŷn Peninsula, a stretch of coastline quite distinct from the Irish Sea and Cardigan Bay either side. The clifftops are dotted with castles and Iron Age hill forts, the beaches wide and sandy and a magnet for families, while the coasts and hills are a haven for wildlife.

Twnti Touring Caravan and Camping Park is a tiptop base to start exploring the area. This tiny, intimate site keeps things simple – no hot tubs or rope swings, just comfortable essentials including a launderette, communal fridge-freezer, drying room and family washroom. There's even a dog park for four-legged campers. Five minutes' walk by footpath takes you from the site to the welcoming Bryn Cynan pub, serving fresh food and local ales, while a mile and a half away sits the famed Ty Coch Inn right on the beach. Further paths lead down to nearby Morfa Nefyn, a two-mile sandy crescent set up for castle building and beach napping, while windsurfers and kitesurfers zip across the waves beyond.

Site is quiet and clean. Lovely walks nearby. Owners pleasant and instructions clear. £39 for solo in campervan then 50p for showers so expensive compared to other sites. Aimed more at touring caravans. Lots of room on pitches. I was aware of price upon booking but now on a site with same facilities for £20.

Lovely well kept site. Clean toilets and showers. There is a good supply of leaflets, information and maps showing the way to the coast path and beaches which are close by. We had a lovely view of the hills from our pitch. We had a very enjoyable week.

Ty’n Y Coed Touring Caravan Park in Morfa Nefyn is a true gem for anyone seeking a peaceful and well-kept getaway. The facilities are immaculately clean, making stay comfortable and stress-free. The beautifully manicured grounds are a pleasure to walk through and reflect the care and attention given by the owners. Communication is excellent – friendly, prompt, and helpful, which really adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The location is perfect for exploring the stunning Llyn Peninsula, with gorgeous beaches and coastal walks nearby. A wonderfully maintained site that makes you feel at home – highly recommended for a relaxing break.

It is a lovely well kept campsite, the pot washing room is great and toilets were clean. But I think it is expensive for what you get, especially when you also have to pay extra for the shower. To improve the facilities it would be good to have a playground for children or an onsite shop, entertainment area, something that sets it apart from others. I have been to better campsites in Wales with more on offer and better location for cheaper
