Ballyholme works well for families or groups of up to six looking for a proper base rather than a quick overnight. The cottage gives you three bedrooms across two floors—a king and twin on the ground level, a double upstairs—plus two bathrooms, so there's genuine space to spread out. One dog or cat can come along for free. The whole place is yours alone, with private parking for two cars and an enclosed garden to the front and back, complete with seating.
The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking: electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer mean you can eat in or out as you choose. Downstairs there's a living room with a smart TV and electric fire, a separate dining room, and a sitting room upstairs. The garden is a real feature—mature planting that attracts birds and wildlife, with a patio for sitting out. There's also a garage with tumble dryer, a bike store, and an EV charging point available by arrangement (at cost). Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. The cottage sits four steps up from ground level, and the upstairs bedroom is reached via paddle stairs, so access is worth considering depending on your household.
The village of Boosbeck is quiet, with a fish and chip shop nearby. Saltburn's long beach is a ten-minute drive away, putting the North York Moors within easy reach in the other direction. No smoking throughout.
