Redcar's clifftop location means this apartment sits above the golden beach, with direct footpath access down to the shore. Smuggler's North occupies the first floor of a converted building, arriving via external stairs to a private entrance. Inside, the space opens into a corridor leading to interconnected living, dining and kitchen areas, where you can cook full meals and still watch the view. Both bedrooms are kingsize, and the bathroom has a bath and separate shower cubicle.
The property comes with wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels all included. One car park space is yours on site. One dog stays free. There is no smoking inside. A balcony lets you step straight outside to the sea, and if you want to explore further, the Cleveland Way National Trail runs past the building—perfect for serious walking or just getting down to the beach for a morning stroll. The nearest shops are at Sainsbury's Local.

Nicely decorated bar with a wee courtyard out the back too. A couple of decent cask offerings but the keg/craft is your bang average mass produced stuff. Nice friendly staff.

Great pub! Me and my family always visit when me and my partner come home for the weekend. Owner and staff are lovely, definitely one of our favorites. Great drinks and pool table too!

Very friendly place to have a drink and chat. Lovely staff, small rooms and some great beer and stout.

We popped in here for a pint on a very wet Saturday and loved the place. The manager was really friendly and helpful. The building is quirky but not so much that it's not for for purpose and is the sort of place I would love to spend my weekends by a fire drinking with friends. We particularly loved the faux barrel fronts for the cask beers behind the bar. The location is great with a decent sized free car park a couple of minutes walk away. Three real ales on, all of which were from three brothers. If I had one minor suggestion it would be to maybe have two Three Brothers on permanently and have a rotating guest ale (because obviously this would suit me more 🤣). Overall a thoroughly great experience and one will are looking to repeat, but when I'm not driving, in the very near future. Can't recommend you trying this place enough if you are nearby or passing ... Especially if you love your ale and some quirky surroundings.
