Went in march. 2026 5 MTR transit Campervan The road leading here is a Small farm track that can be muddy but someone got a 7mtr MOHO and trailer down to the site so DONT let that put you off. Make the effort. We parked on the edge of Wales and had incredible sunsets. Toilets and showers were spotless. Stunning stars at night.

Absolutely stunning place to stay, as long as you’re there to relax and enjoy the views you’ll have a great time, fantastic private beach and really good food from the food hut.

We had a wonderful stay at this campsite and would happily return. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views across the coast. The sunset was unbelievable and easily one of the best we've seen from our campervan. The private beach is a real gem and makes the site feel very special. We'd love to come back at a different time of year to experience the dark skies and hopefully see the Milky Way. The site is reasonably priced and has everything you need. The facilities were clean and well maintained, there is a handy shop on site, and campervan facilities such as grey waste disposal and an Elsan point are available. The farmer also came round during the evening to do his checks and stopped for a friendly chat, which was a lovely personal touch. One thing that may help future visitors: we were just passing through and decided to stay for the night. We saw the payment machine at the entrance, checked the site rules, paid the £20 fee and chose a pitch, as there didn't appear to be anyone around at the time. We later discovered that the campsite now operates on a booking-only basis, which is completely understandable as it helps prevent the site becoming overcrowded. Thankfully, we were kindly allowed to stay, which we really appreciated after setting up for the evening. A small sign at the entrance explaining that advance booking is required might help avoid any confusion for others arriving in the same situation. Overall, a beautiful campsite in an incredible setting, with friendly staff, great facilities and views that will stay with us for a long time. Highly recommended. PS. After a long journey through the windy country roads and fog we were glad to reach our destination for the night. We unfortunately went when the weather was bad but it was the perfect place to stop over and wake to an amazing view, lovely clean toilets and a great hot shower. The shower takes £1 coins but worth every penny. I read the previous comments about having to pay by cash to park up but the machine in the farm there must be new as I was able to pay by card. A little tricky to work out but got there in the end. It’s dog friendly but a working farm so need to be mindful to keep your pupper on a lead. The beach is accessible but is very steep. There’s benches for those who would prefer a view from the top. It’s worth the trip down if you can make it. I was a little disappointed that there were a couple of plastic bottles on the beach but can’t blame the farmer as it’s clearly folk like us that need to not litter the place. There was a handy snack truck that opened in the morning. Thanks for the lovely stay :)
