About Mur Melyn
Tucked into the spectacular Llŷn Peninsula – Wales's own Land's End – Mur Melyn sits just two miles from the village of Aberdaron, where a couple of welcoming pubs and local shops await. The real draw here is the scenery: you're perfectly placed for some of North Wales's most beautiful beaches, including the famous Porth Oer (Whistling Sands), which gained BBC Coast fame for its singing sands. The site itself is peaceful and remote, with space for 30 tents and 14 caravans, plus hook-ups for 20 units and a four-berth static caravan available to hire.
With canoeing, cycling, fishing and sailing all within easy reach, there's plenty to keep active families busy. Do note that dogs aren't allowed, so it's one to leave the four-legged friends at home – but the trade-off is a quiet, relaxed atmosphere and that genuinely spectacular coastal setting.

We love returning year on year to this lovely campsite. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners and we feel like we are visiting a home from home. The facilities and great and kept spotlessly clean. So many places to visit, whether on foot, bike or car. The field is flat, open and never feels crowded. Definitely recommend you give this place and try!

Great place to stay! I've been coming for years. Big spacious static caravan which accommodates a family of four, with the morning sunshine streaming through the door, and the sunset to the right of the TV. Easy reach of good walks and lovely beaches.

Beautiful camp site. Stayed in a tent, and when the wind was bad we stayed in the caravan. Very cozy and a great place to be!
