We had a brilliant family break at Lyons Robin Hood Holiday Park and were genuinely impressed with how much there was for all of us to enjoy. My wife and our two girls had a fantastic time from the moment we arrived. The park has a really welcoming feel, and everything is set up perfectly for families looking for a fun, easy, and relaxing getaway. The facilities are excellent — loads of activities for the kids, great entertainment, and plenty of places to explore. Our girls loved having the freedom to try different things throughout the day, from the pool and play areas to the evening shows. It’s one of those parks where you never feel stuck for something to do, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The food options were great too, with plenty of choice and good value for money. Whether we were grabbing something quick or sitting down for a proper meal, everything was straightforward and family‑friendly. The whole park is clean, well‑kept, and easy to get around, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, Lyons Robin Hood gave us exactly the kind of family holiday we were hoping for — fun, relaxed, and full of things to keep the kids happy. We left with loads of great memories and would happily return. Highly recommended for families looking for a lively, welcoming holiday park with plenty to do for both adults and kids.

Not my usual choice for a holiday but had a great time. We had 4 nights with my granddaughter as it was half-term. The caravan was clean and comfortable. The facilities are perfect for a 5 year old and her grandparents. She loved the arcade and the 6 o'clock kid's show but most of all the poor. I didn't realise the pool had to be pre-booked. We spent a lot of time on the beach too thanks to the glorious weather. The food was good , especially the pizzas. My only gripe is the litter. This isn't a dig at the staff. Some people are just too bone idle to tidy up after themselves. The staff work hard enough as it is.

This place has gone down hill massively, stayed last year and didn't want to leave, had really friendly staff, clean facilities and a welcoming environment. This year just went wrong from the start. Caravan wasn't clean at all on arrival and had clear and obvious damage that hasn't been repaired from the year before (we had the same caravan from the year before) Key for the caravan didn't work and lock the caravan, had to wait 2 hours for a new key to be brought before we could do anything. Everything needed to be booked through the app, yet was repeatedly told the app was down and you can't book things. When actually getting to do the paid activities there was no host ? Or a very poor service in comparison to the year before, furthermore there was no facilities for people to wash their hands after doing fluid bears. The arcade cards repeatedly didn't work and money was taken from the cards without actually putting credit onto the machines. Facilities were disgusting, every toilet was vile within the premise people were leaving to go back to their caravan to use the toilet to then come back. Massively understaffed throughout, 3 staff members working a bar that was for venue that could seat over 1000 people ? Could never find anyone for assistance within the arcade and when you did they were rude. The new play area outside is great except massively overcrowded and unsupervised, multiple children were getting hurt because other parents weren't watching their kids. At the end of the week we took our tickets we had collected over the week and the kids chose their prizes only to later find out they were actually broken. I left the site a day earlier and am actually writing this review at 2am. Really unhappy with the service this time round and most likely would not return or recommend, which is a shame when compared to our experience the first time round.

Very disappointed with our stay here. We arrived around 4:20pm and initially went out for food and to use the park facilities. However, once we returned and properly inspected the caravan, we were shocked by the cleanliness and overall condition. It did not feel clean or maintained to an acceptable standard and we no longer felt comfortable staying there with our family, so we made the decision to leave the very same evening. We also paid an extra £20 for Wi-Fi which did not work at all during our stay. The park itself also felt poorly maintained. There was dog fouling around the site which owners were not cleaning up, and overall the atmosphere did not feel particularly safe or welcoming. What disappointed me further was the response from customer service afterwards. I was told I should have reported the issues whilst onsite, however by the time we had fully realised how unhappy we were, reception was closed and I had not seen any contact numbers in the welcome pack. I did not feel it was reasonable to expect my family to stay overnight in a caravan we were unhappy with just to wait until the following morning to complain. Rather than acknowledging the poor experience or offering any meaningful resolution, the response felt dismissive and focused more on defending the park than understanding why we felt unable to stay. Sadly, this experience completely ruined what was supposed to be a family holiday.
