Nice park, good play area for range of ages (we had 7yr old 3yr old and 1yr old all able to do things). Nice flat sections for scooters and bikes. Only downside was that it was full of litter

The sprawling park at the edge of Heywood with Rochdale is well maintained. We went today for Eid prayers organised really well, as usual, by the local two large mosques. Wonderful arrangements as usual with plenty of volunteers directing people for correct parking and to maintain order. Lots of people came as usual and volunteers had set up stalls for free water and snacks. All in all, brilliant.

A nice park to walk around and plenary to do with the children, little steam train rides (only operate on a weekend) the park area, fields to run around and the tennis courts too! Lost of areas to have a picnic or even sit and take a minute! Which you may need if you use the adult gym equipment!They past 12 months has seen the park used more than even and unfortunately lots of litter around with overflowing bins which is sad to see! The park in general is always kept and the grass is never overgrown!
