About Consort Hotel
Brampton Road in Rotherham provides a straightforward, well-connected setting for the Consort Hotel, within easy reach of the surrounding South Yorkshire countryside and Cannon Hall Country Park nearby. It's a practical base for anyone wanting a quiet stretch of road rather than a town-centre location, with free on-site parking a useful bonus for drivers.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks provided, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. Free WiFi is offered throughout, and there's a restaurant serving breakfast alongside outdoor seating and a picnic area for warmer days. Luggage storage is on hand for guests arriving early or departing late.
Outside the hotel, there's plenty to fill the days: golf, fishing and horse riding are all nearby, along with a pub or bar for evenings and entertainment options for those who fancy a change of pace. Rotherham Central offers onward travel for guests without a car.
Guests consistently praise the hotel's friendly, helpful, and professional staff, as well as the yummy breakfast.
Other reviews mention the rooms can be poorly maintained and neglected.
