About Ferryboat Farm Fisheries Certificated Site
Ferryboat Farm Fisheries is a certificated site built around a working fishery, making it ideal for anglers wanting to fish on-site. The pitches are spacious and level, and the facilities include showers. There's an on-site bar and snack van, plus a bouncy castle for children, which gives families something beyond the fishing if that's their draw.
The setting suits touring caravanners and families looking for a base with genuine amenities rather than basic camping. Staff are noted for being helpful and approachable. If fishing is your main interest, the ponds are well-stocked; if you're coming with kids or simply want a more social campsite experience than a field offers, the bar and facilities make it work for that too.

What visitors say
We had a great camping trip here. There were two of us staying, and when the electric on our pitch didn’t work we were kindly upgraded to the pod, which was a really nice gesture and made the stay even better. The owner was really friendly and helpful, which made us feel very welcome from the start. The site itself is lovely, with great walking trails around it, some really nice ponds, and beautiful walks along the canal nearby. It was also our first time seeing a cargo train up close as the site is right next to the train tracks, which was actually really cool to watch. Overall we had a really relaxing time and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful camping spot with plenty of nice walks around.

Stayed here as we were going to a festival at Imperial music Venue in Mexborough. Easy and beautiful walk along the canal to and from the venue so perfect for us. Campsite had loads of room, perfectly flat for pitching on, clean facilities and one of the best showers I've even had! Staff were friendly, great little campsite.
