About Premier Inn Manchester Sale
A freshly cooked breakfast and a bar-restaurant on site set the tone at Premier Inn Manchester Sale, a 79-room hotel on Carrington Lane just off the M60. The dining options make it an easy choice whether you're stopping over for the Trafford Centre or heading into Manchester city centre.
Rooms are spread across two floors and come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available in-room, and accessible rooms for those who need them. Beds and showers are consistently well kept, though some rooms can run warm, so it's worth requesting a fan or asking about ventilation if that matters to you. Staff on the 24-hour reception are noted for being helpful, and free parking is available to the front and side of the hotel, with an electric vehicle charge point too.
Beyond the hotel, the surrounding area offers golf, fishing and horse riding nearby, along with pubs, restaurants and entertainment within easy reach. It's a straightforward, well-run base for exploring Sale and the wider Manchester area.
What guests say
The service from the front desk staff was excellent. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. I was disappointed, however, with how much Premier Inn has changed the restaurant menu and food preparation. It feels like the menu has been simplified so much that almost anyone with minimal cooking experience can prepare it. Our dinner was mediocre, to say the least. The beer-battered fish and chips were actually more like panko-crusted fish cooked in an air fryer, which was not what we expected. The beds were comfortable, as always, but the room could definitely use some maintenance. I'm not sure if the hotel is waiting until the new addition is completed before renovating the original section, but that part of the property is beginning to show its age. I've been staying at Premier Inns all over the UK for more than 20 years. I continue to choose them because they're usually budget-friendly, clean, and I can count on a decent meal after a day of travelling. Unfortunately, this location didn't live up to the standard I've come to expect from the Premier Inn brand.

I stayed at this Premier inn from Thursday 23rd April to Friday 24th April and the whole place was excellent. I had several options for parking most of which had CCTV. The reception staff was polite and efficient-which was a great bonus as I was desperate for a wee. My room was spotless, the shower was one of the best showers I’ve had for a long time, and the bed was extremely comfy. I did notice that the building next door (possibly the original pub) was being demolished and the car park was a bit smaller the it showed in the map but parking was still fine and maybe a new pub/bar will make this place amazing. Breakfast: At Breakfast I was welcomed by Sara who was very smartly dressed, and had a lovely smile. Sara lead me straight to a table, took my food order instantly and showed me where the continental breakfast was. My full English Breakfast was brought to my table (again by Sara) and it was absolutely delicious!! Piping hot, as if cooked to order. While I was eating breakfast Sara never stopped working. Every resident was greeted and seated, and every table that was in use was being cleared and cleaned with in seconds of guest departure.! As I sat finished my coffee and orange juice drinks, more staff arrived- possibly house keeping? Every single member of staff said good morning to myself and every other guest in the restaurant individually- I had recently stayed in a 5star hotel and not received anything close to this sort of service! This set me up for the day and I will be returning!!

My husband and I have stayed at several different premier inns. A premier inn is a premier inn but what makes it special is when you are greeted with a smile and nothing is too much trouble. We would like to commend an excellent member of your team who went above and beyond for us, It may have only been to get me a fresh banana, but this young man took the time and trouble. This young man is Leon. We stayed 2 nights and he was always ready with a smile and he always took time to check in with all his diners through out breakfast. If we come to stay in the area again we would definitely book a room here. Thank you again Leon. 😊
