About Travelodge Manchester Sale

Free on-site parking is one of the more useful perks at Travelodge Manchester Sale, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis once you've registered your vehicle at reception. The hotel sits over three floors near the River Mersey, with 67 rooms fitted with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning, and accessible rooms available for those who need them.

Rooms come with comfortable beds and are generally spacious, though a few have been reported as not always as well kept as they should be. A restaurant and bar on site cover breakfast and evening meals, with drinks available in the room and 24-hour reception for whenever you arrive. Pets are welcome, and there's an electric vehicle charge point for those driving hybrid or electric cars.

Beyond the hotel, there's a Costa Coffee nearby along with other restaurants, pubs and bars, plus entertainment and watersports in the area. Manchester's attractions are within easy reach, making this a practical base for exploring the city without paying city-centre prices.

GREAT STAY 😊 It was just a one-night stay at this Travelodge as I was attending a course in Manchester. LOCATION - 5/5 - Walking distance from the test centre, close to bus and tram stations. Easy accessible to the manchester city centre. ROOMS - 4/5: Overall, room was great. Clean enough except a few stains on the carpet but the toilet was clean. Given 2 sets of pillows and set of 3 towels. All were super clean and comfy. Reduced one star as the AC was not working well and the shower pressure was very low. Otherwise no complaints STAFF - 5/5: Probably the best part of the stay. Super friendly and courteous staff. I had to check-out early at 8AM and they even let me hold the luggage until the evening. Will absolutely book again if I travel to Manchester. Keep it up.

Stayed here recently while my Daughters were attending a concert at Manchester Academy and was pleasantly surprised. Firstly the hotel is in a great location with easy access to the motorway system only 1 minute away. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and the reception and bar area is welcoming. The staff were great too and were very welcoming and friendly. I had a meal in the bar in the evening and I was surprised at how good it actually was. Freshly cooked and tasty and very fairly priced for a hotel. Would definitely stay again if in the area and happy to recommend.

It was a very comfy sleep. Location was ideal for my partner doing a training in the area and getting into the city. The room had a stale smell and unfortunately the room cards failed multiple times. Hard to find staff at times. Overall value for money

I recently stayed at Travelodge Manchester Sale and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, everything felt smooth, welcoming, and genuinely well-organised. The staff deserve a special mention because they really made the stay stand out. Every interaction was friendly, professional, and helpful without ever feeling forced. You can tell they genuinely care about making guests feel comfortable, which makes a huge difference after a long day of travelling. The room itself was spotless and surprisingly spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable, easily one of the best nights’ sleep I’ve had in a hotel in a long time. Everything was well-maintained, from the bathroom to the little details like lighting and temperature control. It had everything I needed without feeling cluttered. Location-wise, it’s perfect. It’s in a nice, quiet area but still well connected, making it really easy to get into Manchester city centre or explore the surrounding areas. There are also plenty of shops, cafes, and places to eat nearby, which adds to the convenience. What really impressed me was the overall value for money. You often expect to compromise on something at this price point, but that wasn’t the case here. Cleanliness, comfort, service, and location were all spot on. I would 100% stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Manchester, whether for business or leisure. A genuinely great stay from start to finish.
