About Sandyhill Guest House

Sandyhill Guest House sits on the A478 between Saundersfoot and Tenby, a short drive from either village and a practical base for visitors planning to split their time between the two. Opened in 2020, it is a modern, purpose-run guest house offering double, king-size, twin and family rooms rather than a converted period property.

Facilities include a cooked breakfast, free Wi-Fi and free parking, along with an EV charging point for guests arriving by electric car. Flexible check-in and check-out arrangements are available on request, a detail that regular visitors particularly value.

Run by owners Andy and Mary, the guest house has built a reputation for straightforward, welcoming hospitality, and its position on the main road between Saundersfoot and Tenby makes it a sensible choice for visitors with a car who want easy access to both without paying harbourside rates in either.

I loved my stay here. It was a last-minute booking, but I was welcomed. The room was spotless, with lovely touches: Welsh cakes, water, wine, and a super coffee machine with great-tasting coffee (not Nescafé). I would stay there again without any hesitation.

The room was nicely decorated and clean. The check Inn was smooth with a key box . The fridge with a complimentary bottle of wine, milk and Welsh cakes was a very nice welcoming touch. It certainly made us feel more relaxed. The location is great as we felt we were close to all four beaches, restaurants and other places of historical value e.g Merchant House or the Art Gallery. The beds and the mattresses were very comfy and we all had good night sleep. Highly recommended guest house with a very good internet signal.

Very clean and modern guest house, hosts certainly know how to make you feel welcome. Free bottle of wine nice and chilled, brilliant coffee choices with extra bonus which was lovely (Welsh Cakes) brilliant touch. Away from busy town but close enough to explore. I would recommend staying here if you enjoy walking and close enough for a short car drive to the sea with beautiful views.
