About The Woodlands Guest House

The Woodlands occupies a beautifully restored Victorian house on St Brides Hill, a short walk from Saundersfoot's harbour and shops and just fifty yards from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. It is a small, adults-only guest house with five en-suite double rooms, several looking out across the bay towards the Gower peninsula.

Each room has a fridge in the larger sea-view rooms, along with tea and coffee facilities, a Freeview television and DAB radio, and free Wi-Fi throughout. A residents' bar, open most evenings, and a lounge and garden give guests somewhere to relax beyond their room, and a cooked breakfast is included with every stay.

Free off-road parking and a lock-up garage add to the practical appeal, while the house's position on St Brides Hill puts Glen Beach and the coast path on the doorstep and the harbour and village centre within easy walking distance downhill.

Truly a gem, you will not be disappointed. Wonderful hosts, exceptional breakfast, marvellous mattresses and a very short walk to a secluded beach flanked by oak trees. At times we felt like we were in Costa Rica, the walk down to the beach feels tropical. Eat at the Lan Y Mor restaurant and waddle back home. Plenty of free parking at the house, and a lovely rear garden to have coffee after breakfast. Is this the best place in Wales? It must be.

A wonderful guest house. The hosts Sue and David were most helpful. A most delicious breakfast with a wide choice. Our room was light, spacious and airy with a wonderful view of the sea. The roomand en suite were very well appointed with our very own fridge. A short walk into town (5 minutes). We managed the short hill without a problem. Quiet at night. Would definitely stay here again if we're in the area. Thank you so much!

Myself, my husband, our nephew and his wife just returned home from a fabulous weekend staying at the Woodlands Guest House, Saundersfoot. Sue and Dave were amazing hosts 👍, rooms were spotless, very comfy bed, breakfast was amazing, Sue made amazing jams 😋 and homemade bread 🍞. Thank you so much Sue and Dave for making our break very relaxing 😘. Oh and the homemade lemon drizzle cake was lush 😋. Would highly recommend a stay here to everyone, we will all definitely be returning 👍.

What a wonderful welcome we received from Sue and Dave at Woodlands. Our room was just lovely, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. As for breakfast cooked by Sue, well what can I say! It was most definitely the best breakfast we’ve ever eaten. The home made granola, bread and preserves are superb and the cooked breakfast second to none. We will definitely be visiting again and can’t recommend Woodlands highly enough. Thank you both for making our anniversary weekend extra special.
