Stayed on the camping and motorhome field. Stunning views and great dog walk. Unfortunately that's where the good stuff ends. Little organisation on where people park and no health and safety by other users pitching up too close. Toilets very busy. There needs to be more. Field on a slant so could not get even. Even with chocks. Dogs roaming around off lead and cannabis wafting in the wind. Road noise is also very noticeable. Do not feel this site is value for the money you pay.

My hubby was 24 years, ago with his children 🏕 camping. Obviously a lot has changed, in his eyes not to the best. I would not call it boutique. The service was poor. We were not proper explained were to pitch our caravan. The space we pitched, was very untidy, I had to clean it to make sure its alright for our stay, collected rubbish, bag half filled. We have stayed 4 nights. Nice view though. Toilets are clean, been very much cared for. Just a shame parents doesn't show kids how to leave a toilet clean for the next person. Had this experience going after a child on the toilet, and the flush button doesn't exist for that child. The neighbour pub The Spitle was nicer and cheaper than the bar on side. The grounds is full of weeds, and is badly missing a ground person to take care of it. Mix of tents ⛺️ and caravans 🚐, not my preference.

We stayed for a couple of Nights in the Linden suite, I read the reviews on the day of arrival so was a bit apprehensive but presently surprised. The kitchen in the suite was well equipt and the bedrooms were lovely. Everything was clean but around the bottom of the bath was a little worn and could do with some maintenance. The restaurant and bar were nice, good food and the staff were friendly. The pool and changing facilities were good, we had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Steam room, sauna and hot tub were lovely. The only downside was that the suite was joined to another occupied suite with a locked internal door so you could hear everything, I wasn't aware of this when booking on an external site. Not ideal for the other guests with our dogs giving out an occasional bark and pit pattering around on the wooden floor. we could hear alot of what was said next door and unfortunately we're a family of four with two dogs so I'm sure they heard us also. I felt I had to whisper for the remainder of the stay when they arrived. We would stay again just not in the suite unless we were with family and rented it all out.

Great site, but on a busy weekend really need more toilet facilities, only 4 toilets! Everything else 100% brilliant.
