Garden Cottage

Coldingham Bay and St Abbs Head lie within easy reach of Garden Cottage—a single-bedroom ground-floor property for two near the Scottish Borders coast. The bay itself, popular with surfers and swimmers, sits a 20-minute walk away; the nature reserve and its cliff-top views are similarly accessible. The village has a priory, local shops, pubs serving food, and circular walking routes. Fishing is available at Coldingham Loch, while longer coastal paths extend to Berwick-upon-Tweed and beyond, and boat trips run from there to the Farne Islands.

The cottage is open-plan: a living room with woodburner and large TV flows into a kitchen equipped for proper cooking (oil range, dishwasher, full-size fridge and freezer), and a conservatory beyond. The bedroom has a zip-and-link bed that converts to two singles if needed. The bathroom includes both a bath and a separate shower. A rear garden with patio and barbecue opens from the kitchen; the front garden is larger and enclosed. Parking for two cars is on-site. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; logs for the woodburner are available locally. Dogs are welcome, and a travel cot and highchair are available for younger guests. No smoking indoors.
