Nisbet’s Tower
Scottish Borders

Built in the 1700s as a dovecot, Nisbet's Tower has been converted into a one-bedroom retreat positioned above Eyemouth Harbour. The stone walls and original structure remain, but the interior now holds a king-size bed on the ground floor, a shower room, and an open-plan living and kitchen space upstairs. A smart TV in each room, electric heating, and a fully equipped kitchen mean you have everything needed for a comfortable stay. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included, and there is parking for two cars on site.
The tower sits at the working harbour's edge, where fishing boats come and go and the smell of salt air is constant. A short walk takes you to the waterfront cafés, the Fish Market, and a sandy beach ideal for dog walks—and your dog stays free. The wider East Berwickshire coast lies within easy reach: rugged cliffs, the coastal path, and bird-rich headlands to explore. Eyemouth itself has local shops, restaurants, a museum and the atmosphere of an active fishing village. Access is via footpath only. No smoking is permitted.

Great little self catering bolt hole, cozy in bad weather, lovely to sit outside and watch the goings on in the harbour when it's nice

Spotlessly clean. Very cosy and quirky. Equipped with everything we could want. Very easy and pleasant walk to town centre. Loved it. Would love to return.
