About Worfe Camping
Worfe Camping sits on a working farm near Shifnal, where each pitch comes with its own private shower and toilet – a rare treat that guests consistently rave about. The setting is peaceful Shropshire countryside with views over the River Worfe, and every spot includes a fire pit with complimentary firewood to see you through the evening. Families and dog owners feel particularly at home here, thanks to welcoming hosts who've thought through the details: an honesty shop for essentials, a communal tack room with Wi-Fi and fridge-freezer access, and plenty of space between pitches.
The eco-friendly approach and immaculate facilities earn top marks, though it's worth noting there's no chemical toilet disposal point if you're touring in a motorhome. Still, for tent campers and those seeking a bit more comfort than the usual shared block, this is a genuinely special spot.

What visitors say
Worfe is by far the best camp site we have ever stayed at. Tim and Anne have been brilliant - I broke my arm on a day trip to Manchester, having parked the car at Wolverhampton and got the train to Manchester. I couldn't drive back to the campsite with a broken arm so Tim and Anne took us to the car and Anne drove it back to the camp site for me where it stayed safely until my husband could come and drive my son and me back to Suffolk a couple of days later. Tim and Anne have a weekend cottage on site which they let us use for the night so my husband didn't have to drive home the same day as arriving. They really have been so helpful and turned the disaster of a broken arm into a manageable and still enjoyable holiday. They told us all about the local area and recommended some interesting places to visit. We feel like we really got to know them both and they are genuinely wonderful people. The campsite is so peaceful and we loved having our own toilet, shower, washing up area, picnic table and awning and fire pit to ourselves. The plots are really well spread out and even when there were more people there it never felt busy or overcrowded. The honesty shop is a great idea too (you can pay by card) and there's a fridge and freezer for the campers to use. Tim and Anne 'get' what camping is about for us- peace, solitude and being out in the beautiful countryside. There's so much wildlife around too and being near the river gave us that peaceful water sound not to mention all the birds singing their hearts out all day long! They'd left the meadow uncut or ungrazed this summer which meant lots of lovely wild flowers, butterflies, moths and dragonflies. We especially liked the 'living' bridge built around an existing tree which gave access into the meadows across the river - a lovely place for an early morning walk to listen to the dawn chorus - it's good for the soul! We will definitely be going back again and I'll try not to break anything next time! Thanks Tim and Anne you really are superstars 🌟 🌟 looking forward to seeing you again.

An amazing bank holiday weekend spent at this campsite. The private shower and toilet pod was spotless when we arrived. It was great to have it close by, especially in the hot weather. The use of a fridge was also handy in this weather. It was great to have so much space to play games and the only noise was the birds in the morning. We are already planning to go back.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the location is lovely, the distance between pitches is good, plenty of space so you dont feel too close to anyone else. Having a toilet and shower on each pitch is a nice touch you dont see in many campsites. Will definitely book again.

Cracking campsite, been to a lot but this ranks as one of the best. We did the express (one night) option and took our campervan. We shared a toilet/shower/washing up block with just one other group of 4 so absolutely no problem. We're used to things taking a million hours cos of the kids (5 and 3) but we were actually able to do stuff pretty easily as only about 20 metres from our van. The site is beautiful and my eldest and I had a nice time exploring the meadow and river. The facilities were clean and excellent for a campsite. Little campsite shop with honesty payment which was great as could get some marshmallows there. Horses and chickens which the kids loved. Firewood available and each plot has its own fire pit which is excellent as I didn't have to clean mine up! I'm sure we will be back again!
