About Eden Grange Glamping

Eden Grange Glamping near Shildon delivers proper comfort without the fuss—ensuite pods come with private hot tubs, and there's a choice of dog-friendly, adults-only, or standard options depending on your party. Beyond your pitch, you'll find fishing lakes if you fancy casting a line, plus an on-site bar and restaurant that save the evening dash into town. Guests consistently praise the friendly staff and spotless facilities, noting that prices feel fair for what you get.

The site welcomes motorhomes as well as glampers and stays open year-round, so it works for off-season escapes when County Durham's historic market towns and walking country are quieter. It's family-friendly, though there's no WiFi—which might be exactly what you're after.

Second time we've been here with the motorhome, and it was brilliant as usual. We stayed 2 nights in superior pitch 3 now called Rose I believe, the hot tub is excellent, the pitch is nice and flat, the views are great and the staff are brilliant nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be back again and again, all I can say is keep up the great work. One of the best sites we have been to..

Second time we’ve stayed here now we absolutely love it. We have a camper van and stayed on pitches Rose and Bluebell with hot tubs. Absolutely lush will definitely be back. Clean, peaceful and beautiful. Owner and staff are all fantastic. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic place! Really wasn’t sure what to expect before we came as it was so reasonably priced. But we absolutely loved everything literally couldn’t fault nothing we had a Sunday lunch which was fantastic as was the breakfast. Every member of staff we met was brilliant. We stayed on a motor home pitch and my mum and dad stayed in a pod . Both were fabulous and both had hot tubs . Literally couldn’t fault anything except wish we had booked to stay longer ☺️ we will be back. Thank you for a great stay .

Just returned from a lovely visit, we stayed on a serviced motorhome pitch. Pitches are really level with a water tap to each pitch. One very slight problem was the fishermen parked in front of or too close to the bridge we had to use to get to the pitches. We have a 7m motorhome and I had to find whose cars they were and ask them to move, we couldn’t get the swing round we needed to get on the bridge squarely. When we were leaving, it was the same again. No parking sign around that small area would be brilliant. It won’t stop us returning though. We had takeaway from the restaurant on Saturday night. All the food was absolutely fantastic quality, tasty and red hot. I’m gluten free and there was even something for me to get. Hubby Fished and caught 3 great sized Carp and also had a few runs that he missed 🙈. He can’t wait to return. We would have loved to visit for the late may bank holiday but all the pitches are booked for the Saturday nights only that weekend. Maybe do a 3 night minimum booking for busy times, like most other sites do. We would have booked the whole weekend. Thank you for a lovely long weekend.
