The reception staff were very kind and welcoming. The breakfast was very good, with a decent variety of options. The hotel is located next to a business park, which is great if you're working nearby, but it's about 2 miles from the town centre, so you'll likely need to drive. There are a Greggs, Starbucks, and Co-op close to the hotel, which is very convenient. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the lighting was excellent. The only area for improvement would be the bathroom, which could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The housekeeping staff were very kind throughout my stay. Overall, I had a great experience staying at the Holiday Inn Express Shrewsbury and would happily stay here again.

First time in a holiday Inn the staff where friendly and very helpful. The room was clean bright and lots of room. Has tea and coffee and everything you need and more. Bed was comfortable. And there was air con. Will definitely book again. And the food was lovely all brand names.

Great site, parking including subject to registration. Lovely breakfast too. Air conditioning unit not working, louvres did not open, reception advised it hadn't been activated and did so; 20 minutes later still not working. It was 25C+ and a second fan was given. Bathroom tile missing and key cards didn't work on our 2nd day. A little disappointing 😞.

The hotel is a holiday inn express, clean tidy rooms, plenty of parking great breakfast. What really stood out were the staff. They were really amazing, made us feel very welcome and made a real fuss of the kids and made it a really special experience for them they will remember.
