Shropshire

Burwarton sits at the foot of Brown Clee Hill in rural Shropshire, within reach of Bridgnorth, Ludlow, and Ironbridge. Boyne Arms Cottage is a detached property adjoining The Boyne Arms, a country pub run by the same owners, where guests can eat without leaving the grounds. The beer garden includes private pods, useful if you've brought a dog or simply want to eat outdoors in your own space.
The cottage sleeps five across two bedrooms: a double and a kingsize, plus a single. Downstairs there is a living and dining room with a woodburner and sofa bed, and a kitchen equipped for cooking proper meals—oven, hob, microwave, air fryer and all the basics. One bathroom with a bath and shower serves the property. Essentials like bed linen, towels, heating and wi-Fi are covered; logs for the fire are included too. A private hot tub for five sits in the garden, along with furniture and a patio. The property has its own parking for two cars and a bike store.
Walking country dominates the area—Brown Clee Hill itself is the highest point in Shropshire, and Mortimer Forest lies nearby. Ludlow with its castle and independent shops is a short drive away. One dog can stay free. The shop is a mile off; the pub and restaurant are ten yards from your door.

We were staying just round the corner so this was perfect. I beautiful pub with an open fire and a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and polite. Myself and my partner had a meal and drinks the prices are very reasonable and we didnt have to wait long for our food. Highly recommend.

Staying in the local area for a few nights and decided to pop in for a Sunday lunch. Very pleased to see that vegans are catered for. We had the vegan Sunday lunch (nut roast, roasties, mash, roast parsnips, gravy and a side of seasonal vegetables). Also had a vegan dessert which was very tasty. Friendly staff. Dog friendly also in the bar and outdoor area. Would definitely come back when in the area.
