You enter The Old School House into a sprawling open-plan room that combines living, dining and kitchen in one generous space—the kind of layout that works well for a group who want to be together without feeling cramped. A woodburner anchors the living area, a smart TV and sofas face it, and the kitchen runs along one side with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and all the basics for self-catering. Ground floor also holds two bedrooms (one with zip-and-link singles, one with a three-quarter double) and a shower room, plus a separate toilet and utility space with a washing machine.
Upstairs, the third bedroom is a kingsize positioned in a galleried space overlooking the open-plan below, with its own en-suite bathroom featuring a roll-top bath and shower. Ten guests can sleep here comfortably, and one small-to-medium dog stays free. The house sits in Burwarton, a village at the foot of Brown Clee Hill, with a country pub within walking distance. A private patio has a BBQ; a wood-fired hot tub is yours alone to use. Heating, electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included; initial logs for the woodburner come with the booking. Parking for five cars and a bike store are on site. No smoking is permitted.
Burwarton is close enough to Shrewsbury, Ironbridge, Ludlow and Bridgnorth for day trips, and the surrounding hills offer walking routes. The property suits families, groups of friends and couples wanting a straightforward break, rather than party groups.
