Dower House Lodge

Dower House Lodge works well for families, groups of friends or multi-generational trips—it has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and sleeps eight across a whole property to yourselves. The main bedroom on the ground floor holds a super-kingsize bed; upstairs, one room has a double with its own bathroom featuring a roll-top bath and walk-in shower, while the third bedroom contains a zip-and-link super-kingsize or two singles on request. A hot tub fits eight and overlooks the grounds; children have a play area, and there's space to store eight bikes. One dog is welcome at no extra cost.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking—electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine—and there's a washing machine and tumble dryer tucked away in a cupboard. The living room has a 55-inch smart TV and patio doors onto the garden. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; a welcome pack awaits arrival. Outside, an enclosed lawn has a patio, firepit, barbecue and garden furniture. The grounds extend beyond the private garden area, which includes a large pond—children need supervision if they venture further afield.
