Rural Shropshire unfolds around School Cottage, a converted village schoolhouse in North Shropshire with direct access to countryside and market towns within easy reach. Market Drayton lies a short drive away, known for its weekly market and gingerbread heritage. Shrewsbury, with its castle, riverside walks and independent shops, is also within striking distance for a day out.
The cottage itself has two double bedrooms and two bathrooms—one upstairs, one on the ground floor. The ground floor holds a living room with woodburner and Smart TV, a separate dining room, and a kitchen fitted for proper cooking, with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and all the usual equipment. Upstairs are the bedrooms. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are included; there's also an initial load of wood for the burner. Two cars can park on site.
Out back, a garden with patio and sitting furniture provides a quiet spot to sit. The cottage is non-smoking. A pub is within a mile on foot.
