Old Church Farm sits in the quiet village of Hinstock, surrounded by open countryside between Newport and Market Drayton in north Shropshire. This is a working rural setting where you'll find St Oswald Church nearby, and the property itself dates back over 400 years—a solid farmhouse with exposed beams, low doorways in places, and the kind of character that comes with age.
The house sleeps 10 across five bedrooms: a kingsize with ensuite shower, three doubles, and a fifth bedroom with a day bed and pull-out single. Two bathrooms serve the property, one with a roll-top bath. Downstairs there's a living room with woodburner, dining room with open fire, and a kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, range cooker, dishwasher and American fridge freezer, opening onto a patio through bi-fold doors. A utility room has washing and tumble-drying facilities. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included; initial wood for both fires is provided too.
Outside, a lawned garden surrounds the property with a pizza oven, private hot tub for five, and children's play area. You get parking for four cars and the whole place to yourselves. One dog can stay free. No smoking throughout. This works well for large groups or extended families wanting space to spread out in the countryside.
