About Malhamdale Glamping

Time to step away from everyday life for a while? Malhamdale Glamping could well be the place to do it. These spotless, cosy pods sit amid sweeping views of the Yorkshire Dales – all green hills and classic limestone walls, with Malham Cove off in the distance. Each pod comes surprisingly well-equipped: a mini kitchen with microwave, two-ring hob and fridge, plus an ensuite bathroom, double bed, sofa bed, heating and TV. Outside, you've got your own picnic bench and firepit for alfresco evenings under the stars.

The real draw is the location. The Pennine Way passes close by, leading you off to Malham Cove, Janet's Foss, Gordale Scar and Malham Tarn – walkers and wildlife-watchers will be in their element. There's a farm shop next door with a tearoom serving breakfasts, lunches and cakes, and local paths can take you to village pubs for a good pint by the fire. Helpful, welcoming hosts provide excellent recommendations to help you make the most of it all.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Glamping Pads. We stayed for 3 nights and from the moment we arrived, with a welcome basket, to a cheery goodby from Julie on our way out, our experience was wonderful. The pad is perfectly sized and designed, and came with a thick guidebook on everything we needed to know from how to operate everything to walks in the area. The Pad is in the center of everything, but it truly feels like your little oasis. We highly recommend; enjoy!

We had such a lovely stay at this glamping site in Malham. The pods were spotless, cozy, and really well equipped — warm, comfortable, and ideal after a long day exploring. We walked up to Malham Cove, which was absolutely stunning, and then wandered over to Janet’s Foss for a dip — such a magical spot! We also grabbed an amazing sausage roll and an unreal hot chocolate from a good van near Janet’s Foss, which was the perfect treat after our walk. Everything about the stay felt relaxed and welcoming. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with great access to all the main walks. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a countryside escape with a touch of comfort — we’ll definitely be back!

We have just enjoyed a great 3 night stay. The pods are in an excellent location, close to the village but set back from the road so zero noise other than nature. You are only a few minutes walk from all the local pubs and village centre. The pod comes with everything you need, towels, dinnerware, cutlery, cookware and utensils, toiletries, hair dryer, microwave, induction hob and a fridge with freezer inside. Julie the owner was lovely and always made an effort to stop and say hello. We would 100% recommend the pods.

We had a wonderful couple of nights staying at Malham Glamping Pods. The pod was immaculately clean, comfortable and warm on a chilly weekend. Simon & Julie were most welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. There was a lovely welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk and snacks which we put to good use while enjoying our walk. The area around Malham has a number of different walks varying in difficulty ( we chose the Malham Cove , Gordale Scar, Janet's Foss route ) which has beautiful views. A couple of pints and a bite to eat in the Lister Arms finished the day off nicely. A most enjoyable weekend and we will definitely return to Malham Glamping Pods. Thank you Simon & Julie Phil & Helen
