Hotel close to M42 which was ideal for me, leaving so early in the morning to commute to work. Room was perfectly clean, I look for finer details but I couldn’t find a complaint anywhere in the room. Bed was extremely comfortable, linen very soft. I didn’t use the restaurant for breakfast due to having to rush out to work, I paid for continental breakfast so Sam went and packed up some pastries and made me some toast to go on the road with. What a lovely touch. Reception staff were very accommodating and had a welcoming smile. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to a friend.

We’ve stayed in many places over the years, but our recent stay at Solihull Premier Inn was genuinely one of the best customer service experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every member of staff made us feel looked after and valued. With the weather being exceptionally hot, the team constantly went above and beyond to make sure guests were comfortable, regularly offering and topping up cold water without even being asked. It was such a thoughtful touch and made a huge difference. Massive shout out to Louise from reception who was amazing, we can’t thank her enough for all she did, the restaurant staff were also absolutely outstanding (apologies couldn’t remember their names). Nothing was too much trouble, and they couldn’t have done enough for us. Their attentiveness, friendliness and willingness to help created such a welcoming atmosphere and turned a great stay into an exceptional one. It’s rare to come across service where people genuinely seem to care, but that’s exactly how it felt throughout our visit. Every little detail and act of kindness was noticed and appreciated. You all went out of your way in every possible sense to make sure we had everything we needed, and it didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you so much to everyone at Solihull Premier Inn for making our stay so memorable. It’s honestly been one of our best stays in a long time, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Keep doing what you’re doing, you made our visit truly special. We stayed in room 19 and 20 from 26/06

All staff very welcoming, friendly and efficient. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable although the lack of AC was apparent in this heatwave. The restaurant was excellent - both for dinner and breakfast, the latter being partly buffet and partly “cook to order”. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent value for money and good quality. Thoroughly recommend.

Great overnight stay at Hockley Heath Solihull. What makes Premier Inns our hotel of choice if we need to break a long journey is the comfortable beds, cleanliness of hotel, great breakfast, reasonable price and friendliness and helpfulness of staff who have unfailingly provided excellent customer service at every Premier Inn we’ve stayed in. Hockley Heath is no exception. No lift, but Coral on reception couldn’t have been more helpful and immediately changed our rooms to 2 adjoining ground floor rooms so that accessibility wasn’t a problem for my partner’s 94 year old mum. No air con (we were tail end of heatwave) but very efficient fans in rooms did good job. Decent dinner in airy restaurant where the young woman working both the restaurant and bar was very friendly and efficient. Great cooked breakfasts for the 3 of us next morning - we particularly liked the order at table service for hot food which meant that all of our food was freshly cooked. Really good choices, (including my veggie breakfast) served by Natalie who again was so friendly and efficient. Excellent customer service all round as usual. Will return.
