Watchet's working marina is ringed with independent shops, restaurants and the Pebbles Tavern within easy reach on foot. The West Somerset Steam Railway runs heritage trains from the station nearby, while Dunster Castle and the sandy beaches at Blue Anchor and Minehead are short drives away. Walkers and riders have direct access to Exmoor National Park and the Quantock Hills; golfers will find courses locally too.
Bridge Cottage is a one-bedroom property for two, with a furnished balcony overlooking the river. The ground floor holds a living and dining space with a TV and electric woodburner, plus a kitchen with electric cooker and microwave for self-catering. Upstairs, the bedroom contains a double bed (4ft 6in). The wet room has a shower. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. Note that the stairs are steep and narrow.
Roadside parking is available subject to space; a public car park is 20 yards away. No smoking. Not suitable for children.
