Crickledown

Crickledown is a detached house in Somerset that comes ready for a substantial gathering. Six bedrooms accommodate 14 people across a mix of configurations: a ground-floor double with ensuite, three upstairs doubles or king-sizes with ensuite and separate facilities, plus two rooms with single beds. Three bathrooms, each with heated towel rails, mean less queuing. The kitchen has both an Aga and electric hob, dishwasher, and a separate breakfast area; a second living room provides additional space when the group needs to spread out. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included. A welcome pack is provided on arrival.

Practical provisions matter at this scale: there's a utility room with washing machine and extra fridge-freezer, a highchair and stairgate for younger children, and parking for six cars. The enclosed garden has a private hot tub for six, patio furniture and a BBQ. An electric vehicle charging point is available at 50p per hour. The property is non-smoking and does not accept stag parties.
