The Nest

On a working organic farm in rural Somerset, The Nest offers countryside space without isolation. Seven guests fit comfortably across four bedrooms—three with zip-and-link beds that convert between doubles and twins, plus one single—spread across two floors with three bathrooms. The ground floor centres on an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area that opens onto a private, sheltered garden with patio, seating and a wood-burning firepit; the hot tub sits separate on the terrace. A play area and bike store occupy the garden too. Private parking fits three cars.

Interiors are light and thoughtfully finished, with underfloor heating on the ground floor and in the main bedroom's ensuite. The kitchen has everything needed for self-catering: electric cooker, hob, dishwasher, tumble dryer and washing machine. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included. One dog stays free and can access the secure garden; there's a welcome pack and dog extras provided. A travel cot and highchair are available. Children and families are well catered for. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
