Anchorage

Maidens is a small village on the Clyde coast, halfway between rocky coves and longer stretches of sand. Anchorage stands a short walk from the beach, with Culzean Castle Country Park and its woodland trails within easy reach. Inland, South Ayrshire has castles, gardens, and open countryside for walking and cycling; Ayr is a short drive north, and Stranraer offers day trips to Ireland.

The whole bungalow is yours, with three bedrooms and a bathroom on a single level. You get a double bed, two single beds, and a third single, plus a living and dining room with television and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine included. Bed linen and towels are provided, and heating and electricity are covered in the rental.

Outside, there is an enclosed lawn with seating and a barbecue, parking for two cars, and a bike store. One well-behaved dog stays free. The garden has five steps down from the house. A restaurant and shop are within walking distance.
