Island Quay 10

Five bathrooms for eight guests is the standout here at Island Quay 10, a waterfront cottage in Salcombe with its own mooring for a 17ft boat and a private pontoon. The three bedrooms—one with a king bed, one with a zip-and-link super king, one with bunks and a single—sleep the group comfortably, and those extra bathrooms mean no queuing in the morning. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included.

The ground floor holds the kitchen, living room with a 42" television, and a terrace opening onto an enclosed garden. Upstairs are the bedrooms and bathrooms. On-site parking fits one car. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking; the estuary views and direct water access are the real draw. Children need supervision near the low waterside walls.

This is a working quay at the heart of Salcombe, a minute's flat walk from the town's shops and restaurants but set back enough to feel quiet and separate. Smoking is not permitted. One dog is welcome.
