Salcombe's centre sits between the estuary and the hills, with Holy Trinity Church marking the heart of the old town. Lower Marcam occupies that heritage core—the building dates to 1840, when it served as the town bakery—and now opens directly onto the surrounding streets. You're a three-minute walk from the quayside, the shops, and the restaurants; a pub lies within a mile.
The property is arranged on a single level. A large open-plan kitchen and living area runs into a dining space, with a gas cooker and electric ovens for proper cooking. Three bedrooms are on the ground floor: one with a super kingsize bed and access to the terrace, one with a double, and one with two singles. Beside them are a bathroom with a bath and shower, and a separate shower room. Bed linen, towels and wifi are all provided; gas central heating covers the cooler months.
The real appeal is the enclosed decked terrace overlooking the rooflines, equipped with a BBQ and garden furniture. A courtyard also belongs to the property. A parking permit for one car at the public car park is included. The house sleeps six and is yours alone for the stay. No smoking inside.
