The Cottage

The Cottage comes ready for a self-catering stay, with electricity, heating, bed linen and towels all included, plus wifi throughout. The kitchen is genuinely well-stocked: electric oven, induction hob, microwave, air fryer, dishwasher and washing machine mean you can cook properly or keep things simple as you choose. Downstairs there's also a separate dining area and a comfortable sitting room with a TV; a ground floor shower room saves trips upstairs after beach days.

Bedrooms are spread across two floors. The first floor has two kingsize doubles, one opening onto a patio, plus a first floor living room. Bedroom 3, which sleeps two in a single and a smaller single bed, is accessed through bedroom 2 or via its own staircase. The main bathroom has a bath with shower and there's a second heated towel rail in the shower room. One dog stays free, and a travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

From Shadycombe Car Park it's a short walk into town towards the estuary, or to the beaches and boat park. The house itself sits in a quiet cul-de-sac with private parking for two cars, a south-facing front garden and an east-facing side terrace. No smoking inside.
