Upper Sheldon House
South Hams
Upper Sheldon House occupies the upper two storeys of a converted Victorian building in Salcombe's town centre, a short walk from the waterfront. The property is yours alone, sleeping six across three bedrooms: a double with ensuite on the first floor, a second double, and a twin. The main bathroom has a bath with shower. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included, along with heating and hot water.
The second floor is largely open-plan, with a sitting area (Freeview TV, DVD and CD players), dining space, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer mean you can manage anything from a quick supper to a week's meals. Patio doors lead to a balcony. Outside, there is decking with seating and parking for one car on the property itself. A cot and highchair are available if needed.
This is suited to families and couples rather than large groups. The property sits on Buckley Street; the garden includes steps, worth knowing if mobility is a concern. No smoking throughout.
