Reflections stands on the River Glen at Surfleet Seas End, where the water widens as it approaches the Wash. The cottage sits ground-floor only, three steps up to the entrance, with a lawned garden running down to the river itself—roughly ten yards from the house. Large windows in the living room frame views across the water; from the patio and garden you can watch the wildlife that passes through. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and dishwasher; bedrooms sleep four—a double and two singles—and there is one shower room. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included.
This is genuinely useful for fishing: the river is accessible directly from your garden. For wider exploration, Spalding lies about five miles away with shops and a railway station. Stamford (home to the Burghley Horse Trials), Boston and Norfolk are all within reach for day trips. A pub serving food sits within a mile. The property does not permit smoking. Note that fishing tackle, bait and electric bicycle batteries cannot be brought into the cottage or bike store.
